Yes, it is happening! MicroComms is ready to tackle this year with all its adventures lying ahead!

Ready to take on new challenges and share the awesome science that is going on in the labs.

We invite everyone to become part of the MicroComms community and talk about the amazing research that you’re doing!

Why MicroComms?

At MicroComms, we believe that knowledge is power! With the right knowledge, you can make better decisions and take action.

We are convinced that you can achieve anything you want if you have the knowledge of how to do it.

So, here we are to share that knowledge and empower you to empower others!

Empowering non-scientists

Yes, we believe that by sharing scientific knowledge, we can help everyone to make informed decisions and to improve their lives!

This can be anything from ensuring healthy lives and well-being for everyone to taking action on climate change and using sustainable and affordable energies. But we cannot expect people to act in that way if we do not provide them with the knowledge and tools to do so.

Plus, who doesn’t like to learn something new every day?

Hence, by telling stories about microbiology research, we want to provide non-scientists with scientific knowledge in engaging ways to help them learn.

Empowering scientists

Communicating science to different audiences is not easy if you are not used to it.

By talking about your research to a non-scientific audience, you help them learn new things. But you will also gain new skills which will make you more attractive in the job market. And as we know from our own experience, science outreach will give you a new perspective on your research.

We are here to empower you to tell your own story. We want to give you the tools to improve your science communication skills so that you can tell your science story and enlighten people!

With our guides, you can work through exercises in your own pace and improve your science communication and science writing skills. If you have any request on what you need to better communicate your science, please send us an e-mail (sarah @ microbialcommunication . com) and let us know!

Science communication for everyone

Since we believe in free access to quality education, MicroComms will distribute all your science outreach publications on our channels. Like this, we aim to reach as many people as possible with your outreach project.

Plus, we will publish this monthly Newsletter featuring all the projects that I work on. So, if you want to stay up to date with our work, sign up for the Newsletter below!

And if you want to work together and share awesome microbiology knowledge with us, send us an e-mail (sarah @ microbialcommunications . com) and tell us about your idea! We are looking forward to hearing from you!

This was the first of many Newsletters! We are so excited to get this party started!
